Ali Cegielka
Role: Vocals, Glockenspiel
History: Ali is the co-founder of Manchester’s eminent BlackDog acoustic night and was responsible for giving Louis and Cleg their first gig together playing the songs that would later become Bedlam mainstays. She cut her teeth performing with celebrated Indie Rock favourites A Boy Called Doris and is one of the original members of The Dole Queue. She joined The Bedlam Six during a spate of Christmas gigs where she was called on to play Kirsty McCall to Louis’ Shane McGowan. This onstage alliance proved to be a winning formula.
With a voice that can melt pig-iron, Ali has become one of the group’s major talking points and a perfect foil to the hairy mania of its other members.
